Pollutec

Pollutec is the international exhibition of environmental equipment, technologies and services.

As the global reference show for environment professionals, over the space of four days, Pollutec Lyon brings together all the technologies for the prevention and treatment of pollution and, more generally, the preservation of the environment and the implementation of sustainable development.

  • In 2010, some 50,830 trade visitors (6,558 from overseas) from 96 countries attended Pollutec.
  • Visitors to Pollutec include industry professionals, local authorities, construction and the service sector.
  • Pollutec had 104,500 m² of exhibition space in 2010.
  • Pollutec housed 44 French and international pavilions. 
  • Pollutec’s main sectors are: water (30.6%); waste/recycling/cleaning (27.1%).
  • Pollutec changes venue each year, alternating between Pollutec Horizons in Paris and Pollutec in Lyon.
  • Pollutec’s key visitor activities are: environment (25.8%); industry, including building and transport (16.2%); local/national authorities (13.1%).
  • The origins of international visitors to Pollutec are: European Union [outside France] (48%); Africa (11.7%); Western Europe (13.2%).
